Plaisant has twenty years of experience in the health monitoring of laboratory animals, and we carry out this activity for the most important institutes and research centers within the national territory.
Plaisant technicians have been operating for more than 18 years in the laboratories of the Institute of Biochemistry and Cellular Biology of the CNR of Monterotondo (MRI), and they reached the highest standards due to the maturity and experience acquired over the years.

The Plaisant staff is responsible for the animal health monitoring at the CNR-IBBC laboratories, where the results of our analyses are evaluated and signed by the corporate manager. The analyses use techniques of microbiology, molecular biology and enzyme immunology to search for bacteria, parasites, moulds, fungi, mycoplasma and viruses.

The aim of these analyses is to exclude the presence of pathogenic microorganisms, in accordance with the guidelines indicated by FELASA, and to maintain the highest health standards within the facility, through appropriate working procedures and processes of sanitation and sterilisation. All of these procedures are sought to minimize the risk of contaminations, that may interfere with the activities of the animal facility, and to maintain the best animal welfare standards.
